Flashcut CNC raises a quick almost $7k+ for SOS
Thirty riders rode almost 25 miles as part of Flashcut’s “Bike to Work” fundraiser on August 6th. The Deerfield-based firm’s fundraiser benefited Skin of Steel, a Glenview-based nonprofit seeking to advance research and treatment of melanoma. Flashcut’s owner, Ron Worth, chose Skin of Steel as the recipient of this year’s donatiion in honor of a Flashcut employee who is a Stage IV melanoma survivor. Zach Scott, an engineer at Flashcut, won the coveted“yellow shirt” for raising the most money ($1,000) as an individual. Overall, the riders raised almost $7,000 very quickly! Leave it up to engineers to be efficient. We at Skin of seel are truly grateful.
